Artista Venezolano, nace en Río Caribe, Estado Sucre, en 1937.
Egresado de la facultad de medicina UCV. 1962
Post-grados en Puericultura, Pediatría y Dermatología.
Ha participado desde 1973 en distintas exposiciones con la Federación Médica Venezolana e importantes salones de Arte a nivel nacional.
Juan María Arroyo, médico y artista, ha convertido su vida en una observación constante de los lugares y sus secretos. Siendo médico domiciliario, caminando todas esas calles que recrea, guardó en la pintura cada una de ellas para expresar su punto de vista y regalar estas obras a todos aquellos que desean reflexionar sobre estas zonas que no han seguido ninguna planificación.

En mi condición de artista plástico he sido consecuente durante estos cuarenta años en el aspecto social, ratificado en el Anuario de la pintura venezolana del año 1.975. Me conlleva continuar expresando con las obras en sus variantes tonos que en un principio me identifiqué con el impresionismo , Fauvismo. Últimamente laboro con el abstraccionismo en carátulas o portadas de mis Long Play con las canciones?música y letras de mi propia autoría, sin dejar de captar las características de otras tendencias del arte pictórico que ha enarbolado la misma evolución.
Me inicié con el pastel en las expresiones del impresionismo al observar las instalaciones de los ranchos con sus techos de zinc y paredes de cartón en los cerros de Caracas, viéndolos evolucionar y, posteriormente, verlos crecer y multiplicarse hasta observar hoy en día la plenitud de los cerros invadidos con construcciones de 2 y 3 pisos bajo la creación de verdaderos alarifes, permitiéndome, a través de los años, exponer las obras pictóricas en colectivas e individuales en salones de arte con formatos, estilos y dimensiones diferentes.
Ha transcurrido unas cuatro décadas y las obras pictóricas, a título de referencias, continúan para ser exhibidas con el consentimiento que aflore el color, el estilo de vida y aspecto cultural que creo captar a mi consideración, que no ha sido tomado en cuenta desde el punto de vista urbanístico; no obstante, señaladas en los momentos electoreros donde ?la pobreza? continúa siendo una bandera demagógica en el marco del proselitismo político de Latinoamérica sin el mínimo concepto catastral en la planificación.
He visto en mis obras el aspecto evolutivo como un ?Imaginario Urbano? en tres etapas diferentes transcurridas hasta el presente en una pretensión a cabalidad de discusión con la idea social, donde posiblemente el realismo sobresalga sin menospreciar a las diferentes manifestaciones en la pintura, antes señaladas. Venezuelan artist, born in Río Caribe, Sucre State, in 1937.
Graduated from the Faculty of Medicine UCV. 1962
Post-degrees in Child Care, Pediatrics and Dermatology.
He has participated since 1973 in various exhibitions with the Venezuelan Medical Federation and important art fairs nationwide.
Juan María Arroyo, doctor and artist, has turned his life into a constant observation of the places and their secrets. Being a home doctor, walking all those streets that recreate, he kept in the painting each one of them to express his point of view and give these works to all those who wish to reflect on these areas that have not followed any planning.

In my capacity as a plastic artist I have been consistent during these forty years in the social aspect, ratified in the Yearbook of Venezuelan painting of the year 1.975. It involves me to continue expressing with the works in their variants tones that at first I identified with Impressionism, Fauvism. Lately I work with the abstractionism in covers or covers of my Long Play with the songs, music and lyrics of my own authorship, while still capturing the characteristics of other trends in pictorial art that have evoked the same evolution.
I started with the cake in the expressions of Impressionism when observing the facilities of the ranches with their zinc roofs and cardboard walls in the hills of Caracas, watching them evolve and later to see them grow and multiply until today observe the fullness of The hills invaded with constructions of 2 and 3 floors under the creation of real alarifes, allowing me, through the years, to expose the pictorial works in collective and individual rooms of art with different formats, styles and dimensions.
It has been some four decades and the pictorial works, by way of references, continue to be exhibited with the consent of the color, lifestyle and cultural aspect that I think I capture for my consideration, which has not been taken into account since Urbanistic point of view; Nevertheless, pointed out in the electoral moments where "poverty" Continues to be a demagogic banner within the framework of Latin American political proselytism without the least cadastral concept in planning.
I have seen in my works the evolutionary aspect as an? Imaginary Urban? In three different stages that have hitherto been carried out in a pretension to the fullness of discussion with the social idea, where, realistically, the realism may stand out without neglecting the different manifestations of painting mentioned above.
